ok, I will put my 2 cents in.
I am a newbie but I do alot of landscaping and haul alot of wet dirt. I know what you are saying about rear bumper being 2 inches off the ground and trying to go faster then 40mph, you get a speed wobble. Scary times.
I looked at MONROE Part # 58567 but do to money I went with spring helpers. Cut Rate auto parts $40 for 2 1/2 inch wide leaf, able to carry 1200lbs. I had stock spring helpers on there all ready. I put the new ones on, I hand to take off the stock ones. I added the new helpers. I raised the rear end up higher then I ever would have tought. If I had to guess, It raised to 3 to 4 inches. You can now see the frame rail above the tire. Stock tire size. It also raised the front end 1 to 2 inches. It rides like a real truck now, rough. but I can haul almost anything I want.

I still have the spring box, PM me if you want more info

well, it took me 5 months, but i finally got the sag problem under control (as of the moment)

i ended up going with a set of monroe sensa-trac load leveling shock absorbers - P/N 58567.

at the moment, the springs are arched like they were when i bought the truck. At the most, it's a temporary fix, but it definitely helps with the sag and ride quality. just wanted to update this situation. now, onto the other issues!
