so there i was getting ready to pull the motor out of my 78 luv. I was unbolting the rear driveshaft from the carier bearing and it slipped. Fell right on my neck. Inbetween my windpipe and the kerauted artery (the one you take a pulse from). Well it hurts to swallo and i cant look up. Man this sucks. Thats the thrid such bad thing to happen to me involving a luv :cry:

a long time ago I dropped a starter motor out of my LUV onto my face. it fell about 12" to from the engine to my face and glanced off my cheekbone. still gave me a slight black eye.

Yeah I know the feeling many years ago I used to have a Ford F-100 sepside(used to love that ruck) anyway I was about 17 I think a the time I stopped at a stoplight and went to push he clutch in heard a bang and the truck was still in gear..... ok didn know what the problem was til I got it home and pulled the bolts for the tranny and wen to slide the tranny back well when I did one half of the pressure plate drops out straight onto my chest! 8O man I was in such pain for like four days! :twisted:

Sounds like ya need to find a clover field , and pick some 4 leaf clovers....and don't smoke them , it's against the law in 50 states!...lol...
