thanks

dont think i could have had that planed out any better if i already had they cap when i notched the core support. damn cap is way bigger than expected. the ebay pic made it look small. but i think it looks sweet. it will not stay chrome though.

new upper plates. will finish them up tomorrow.

pair of plates.. 30$. dont know if i want to register the 1 mojo plate, or the v bull plates.. your really supposed to have a pair of plates to register them, but sometimes the dmv people dont care. so if they dont, i will register the mojo plate

radiator hoses ftw

also raised the body up so it lays frame, and all the weight isnt on pinch welds. pinch is maybe 1/8" away from laying now.

cause the entire weight of everything was sitting on the pinch welds, and the frame was off the ground. and when you say on the bed it made it look like it got bad frame flex cause of it. and i dont really want the body all the way on the groundcause i want to try and keep it from getting fucked up

I can uderstand that I would of done the same thing. just would of made it lay flush with the fame still not alowing the cab to hold all the wait. but that cool your truck is still going to look good anyway. just still scratching :smt017 my head about your motor clearing the hood.

just thought that the motor would sit higher then I thought. but when I think about it I guess its just me. does the oil pan touch the ground when laid out.

If I remember right, it's a "tuning" thing isn't it?

They need equal exhaust flow from each side?

I could be totally wrong...

could i do it myself.. yes.. will they work.. yes.. will they be a legit set of headers that will be good on a built motor.. no, not really.

yes equal length primaries is what your after. not always possible. this guy will try and get them as close to equal length as possible.

truck is still at guys shop.. last i heard whoever he orders header parts from was like a week behind on shipping.

i ordered my fox resi shocks. should have them next week.
Image

once i get the truck back, i will redo the lower radiator mounts again as i wasnt happy with them again.. then i will mount the shocks. then cut front spring perches off and make upper bag mounts... lots left to do. im so ready to dig back into this damn thing too.
