Looking through several manuals it looks like the G180, G200, 4ZD1 & 4ZE1 all have the essentially the same overall valve length and shaft diameter, the valve head diameter just gets progressively larger as the series gets newer. I know you can retrofit the G200 valves & seats into a G180 head and the 2.6 into the 2.3 head, but can you go even farther? Is there enough metal to put the 2.3 or even the 2.6 valves & seats into an early head? You could increase the air flow substantially if it were possible.
