Alright i have a question before i start realy thinking of buying another truck. I will have my 78 luv turned into a buggy that will wiegh roughly 2000lbs. Then the trailer im thinking will be about 1000lbs (2 axle whith one axle whith brakes). So do you think an 80 luv will be able to tow 3000lbs whith a wieght distributing hitch anti sway rods and brakes?

Your luv should tow it noproblem. Over the pond here in Scotland thats all we use our luv's for is towing. Our trucks have to work for ther keep a lot of our work is fencing and landscping so a lot of the towing is off road the trucks manage noproblem rembering that we are towing 2 and 3 ton with them.

the real thing i was worried about was not could my luv drag it around (i have pulled full sized truck out of mud holes before) but will it be stable. I dont whant to have problems whith fish tailing and not being able to stop.
