i had a guy tell me he had some new in the box luv fenders, but he said they did not have the step???? has anybody seen or know if these are for the luv's????
I'm going to look at them next week but i wanted to get some input on them and what they might be worth.

Mine does not have the step moldeds in, the steps on mine is a separate chromeplated one...

i had one of those on my other luv it came off of a ford as far as i know those were just a after market fender for the step side for like fords and toys and what ever you wonted to put a step side on

thanks guy's...looks like the earlier fenders have more flare than the standard ones, is this correct?

myt or cat do you know where to get the step for the early bed???

I think you may get lucky and find some from another member but most likely you will have to build your own.

Oh and if the price is fair then most definitely buy them.

On my truck i changed from the non flared to the flare with step.

the flared one was an option.... the steps look close to the full size truck one so you might get lucky there, dont know never tried it... but i was told the full size step looked like the luv one...

TJ.......did you get more tire clearence out of the flaired and if so how much, i'm running a 9" wide slick now and that's all i can get without outside rub

Yes the flared fenders allowed me to go from a 31-16.5 to 31 -18.5 tire and because of the flare they fit the curve of the tire close enough that i can lower the truck more than with the others and looks good.

Well crap i don't post pic's enough so when Photo bucket gets a wild hare up there tail end and changes there format then i get lost as i am not a computer nerd and have to get info on how to get my pic's. I wish these people would leave well enough alone or at least leave better instructions so us old farts can get something done. :x

well i finally went and got the fenders the other day but they weren't n.i.b. but not bad, paid 125 for them.
one's in good shape the other needs some work here are a few pic's......just need to find the steps to go with these now.
