i just bought a 1980 LUV Mikado and im wondering if anyone else has dropped a SBC 350 into a similar body, and what kinda modification i will need to make to the frame and engine bay for it to work right. i would rather ask and feel kinda dumb than do it with no idea of the weak spots and screw myself up and waste money fixing it again.
im mostly worried with clearance in that tiny little bay and bending my chassis. anyone have some tips on the topic?

Just kiddin'. Its pretty common. Do a little readin' on here, and you'll find a lot of good build threads.

You aren't likely to bend the chassis, these are tough framed devils, and they will fit, with the proper planning...
