I'm seriously thinking about swapping in my 22R motor out of my toyota pickup. (2.4L). Im upgrading the engine out of my 79 toyota to a 3rz (2.7L Considered a Big block 4cyl lol.)

 ok i shoulda been more specific..i wanted to see bout a chevy small block or somethin domestic, im tired of workin on foreign motors..im not tryin to make a drag truck, just somethin i can have fun with..im not worried about the electronics (there isnt much to be had anyways), not worried about space, i AM however worried about havin to mess with the motor mounts cause on my truck there is a little bit of rust goin on on the right motor mount and if i had to tweek it a little to fit the motor im afraid it would just lead to me havin to replace it...so i am rephrasing my question :ebiggrin has anyone done an engine swap with something domestic where i dont have to do much mod'n to fit it in?

Buy the boltin motor mounts and fab a transmission mount off the torsion bar crossover. Pretty simple and smallblock will go right in with the stock luv radiator and some stock exhaust manifolds.
