I pulled off a set of horns from an 85 chevy and tried to get them to work in my LUV. The LUV horn has two prongs for power on the horn itself and the full size chevy horn has one. Now I mounted the new horns and when I put power to them they start blowing even if I don't push the pad on the steering wheel, so I am confused, I added extra horns to my 68 chevy with out problems, anyone else tried this and how did you wire it. I might have to wire them in and use a push button.

The LUV's horn is operated via a ground side switch, and the new horn that you're putting on there is grounded through the mounting bolts, so it isn't gonna work. Your best bet is to go out and buy an aftermarket horn with two prongs, but make sure the switch on the steering column can handle the bigger horn. I added a horn and put the switch under the dash.

This would be the best way to wire in a new horn, and you could use it with the horn you already have:

The red box labeled "R" is a relay, the red box labeled "B" is the battery, and the black box labeled "H" is the horn. For the two smaller smaller wires leading into the relay you can use the original horn wires, but you'll have to wire in the big ones. Just be sure to put some kind of fuse inline, preferrably as close to the battery as possible.
lol, it's easier than replacing your horn switch.
