I'm with you brother, that's damn near half of what we get in a year! A storm like that would run the silt out of the creek.

Man, I wish something like that would come out of Alaska and dump on my area... lol, the ski resorts would be able to open.
Dunno what 7 inches of rain would be in snow, but it'd likely be plenty enough to get the winter season going.

Only 1/2" so far, but they say it could be a lot yet today.

We were so dry this year... I know we have had over 10" in the last several months.

I think snow may be 1/2 the amount of rain... Fluffy Rain
You guys have been having a bad time out there, with dry and fire. We had a bad fire(for us) lasting almost 2 weeks before they got it put out.

You could live in Seattle where it rains almost every day. No offense to anyone who lives there.

I think I'd rather shovel snow in the cold all day then try to do anything in 100+ heat with about 4,000 acres burning 20 miles away... bring on the winter! :)

lol, if I walked around all jazzed on caffein like that I'd end up with a headache...

I would shovel anyday over the heat so many ways to warm yourself up. But very little to cool yourself down. Unless you work in a cooler all day :)

We have had the worst spring and fall here. Only 1-2 days of sun then 3-4 days of rain and clouds week after week after week. We just got over 6" of rain from what was left of Ida last week, now another 3 1/2 days of rain this week. Rain, rain go the hell away!!!

Yeah really! We'll take your rain. We need it over here. (Giant fans?)
lol, the snow too! Fingers crossed... the ski resorts are planning on opening this weekend if they get another good dusting.

Rain does start to suck after the first solid week...

In the summer heat I might. My Bro keeps a spread sheet on rain, bachelor with nothing to do, and still lives with mom :P .
We have had 39.5 " not counting anything from this month. 54 .5 in 2007. Dry in 08. we could hit 50" this year easily.... Just nothing in the summer.

The Ida storm people may have had more... I wish I could send some to you Cally guys.

If I could, I would send all of this rain, clouds and gray, gloomy weather to anyone that wanted it! In return, please send some sunshine!!!
