Ok so my first problem. My wipers don't work. Well they go up but not down so I pulled the motor out and took it apart and the plastic gear on the inside is stripped in one area. Now I have been to all 5 parts stores in town and no one can even ORDER me the motor and all I find online are for 81~not helpful so I need to know where I can get one of if I could somehow reapir the one I have. I would like to just find a gear if anyone knows of any that will interchange but if I have to buy the entire motor so be it. HELP! Thanks.

Junkyard maybe. Maybe you can look into the older isuzu pickup trucks and get lucky. I have done that a time or two.

Yes I went to autozone and when you try and order it the computer says no way, I can't order it from anywhere. No way I'm the only one to have a wiper motor go out! I have been told at the KC pick n pull they have one luv, guess I'll have to check that out.

says 81-82 luv on it and a different part # than the 1 at autozone so i wouldnt think so

True but it's a reman, so I hope thats why and autozone no longer even carries the other one so that part number is no good anyway. It looks like a mirror image of the one that came out so that gives me hope. Even the connector is the same. At the leaset I should be able to pull the gear out of it.

i have good used motors if all else fails...

Just so you all know that motor will work. It plugs right up but does fit kind of funny but with some longer bolts works just fine.
