Depends on how bad the damage is and your skill at metal work. You can get some 18 guage steel sheet metal, cut, bend, and weld some new ones to fit or try looking in salvage yards for '72 to '80 Luvs to use as donor floor pans. Don't know what year you have. Once you cut the donor pan out, remove the damaged one from your truck and weld the donor in place and seal it. This is how most do it as trying to get NEW parts is pretty much impossible, althought there is a web site that is posted in LUVtruck.com showing LUV parts that are new. (Thailand I think)

If you are going to replace a section with part from a donor truck or fabricated from sheet metal the best way to attached is by welding it. Some have tried to pop rivet it in which works okay but it is not the preferred method.Be sure to clean the area of rust and treat the area with a coating so to prevent it from rusting over again.

Speaking of coating check out a site called http://www.por15.com. It has a product that can repair a floor board with a coating similiar to fiber glass. And it permanently treats the area from rust, forever. It has some good write ups from restoration magazines.

in my 78 luv, i had a major problem with holes in the floorboard on the passenger side, so i just took a piece of metal from the roof of a junk car i had and welded it in place.

If you want a reproduction floorboard. look up a company called Sri-Thai. They make replacement body panels for the luv truck. They're listed as Isuzu KB 20-25 trucks (thats the same thing as the Luv but it's sold in other contries). Take a look at their site. The cost is cheap but shipping to the U.S. is around 200.00
