Just bought a 1980 LUV a couple weeks ago, have read this whole message board in the last few days since discovering it. Awesome message board, learned so much from you guys, thanks. I used to own a 77 2wd, had the basic small block 350, and a terrible body, I sold it to a friend and he now has it looking sweet the last I heard. My 80 4wd runs excellent, but it has a pretty rough body. I'll have some pics up after my minimum posts. Since buying her I have done a complete tune up, lifted it (shackle/t bar lift for now), installed aftermarket oil/water/voltage/tachometer gauges. Plan on doing intake, carb, headers when I get my tax return. Will be ordering the electronic dist next payday. I am in the Army and doing most of my work in the barracks parking lot, so that sucks, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do right. Would have a house with garage but my soon to be ex wife has those, bitch.
