I just aquired a 80 luv perfecy condition. 70000 miles. baby blue. old man owned it. after the motor goes i wanna drop a v8 in it. any suggestion where to get started. and who had drop in kits .

Welcome to the site. I have a '80 Luv too! If you go to the Drivetrain Upgrade section, there are plenty of posts for a V-8 conversion. I'm leaving mine a stock 4 banger for now as I have enough V-8's to pump gas into right now! Have fun with the Luv! :D

You can spend hours and hours going thru the various threads for technical, body, parts sources and also
various restorations. There are numerous threads on the conversion to V-8's.
