GUYS I HAVE A BUZZER THAT WILL NOT GO OFF. IT IS LOCATED ON THE LEFT OF MY DASH IM NOT SURE WHAT IT GOES TO. I JUST KEEP IT UNPLUGED FOR NOW BUT I WOULD LIKE TO FIX THIS PROBLEM.

My 77 had a seat belt buzzer. I rewired it to a headlight reminder.

WELL IM NOT SURE IF THATS IT I DONT THINK I HAVE A SEAT BELT OR HEAD LIGHT REMINDER BUT I WILL TRY AND SEE IF THATS IT

Now that's a much better use of a stupid buzzer. Cool idea.

Justin, what year is your truck? They didn't have any buzzer in '75 so I'm guessing yours is newer than that.

None of my trucks have a buzzer. I do remember reading somewhere, probably in my shop manual, that the California LUVs with catalytic convertors have a high heat buzzer. Maybe this is what you have going on?

Plug your belt together and see if it stops, that was the first thing I disconnected on my truck when I got it.

my truck is a 79. and its doesnt stop with the seat belt hooked up. I dont know how to chech the catalitic converter but i dont think thats it becuse it will go off as soon as the key is put in the truck could have been off for days in the cold.

It's definitely the seat belt buzzer. I had the same problem, and disconnecting it has worked quite well. lol, if I had the door switches, I would definitely wire it for a headlight reminder.
