 Post subject: Brake master upgrade

So i had the idea of swapping out my brake master for new/ better one. Would the brake master off of a 86- 91 Trooper work, or would it compleatly mess things up? This would be on a mostly stock truck with stock brakes... although i do have plans to swap in a 12 bolt with disks later on down the road. Thanks in advaced guys

90-94 Jeep Cherokee and i have disc front/rear but set up diff then most people would.
