I'm sure a lot of you have had the same problem I've had with my truck, stripped out window cranks? And replacements are almost impossible to find, at least ones that don't flop around on the post.
However there is any easy fix!
Just use a small drill and drill a hole in the center of the old crank and into the post, (while it is on the crank post) tap it to a #10 NF thread, then install a "V" or countersunk screw into it, voila, the crank is tight again. Stock window cranks have a center sunk spot in them so it is easy to drill straight too!
The metal in the crank is very soft and any drill bit will easily work. I have had success with this fix for over 8 years.
Hope this helps you with the problem.

Will try to send some pictures asap. Meanwhile I forgot to include the hole should be drilled with a # 21 drill bit.

That sounds like a good fix.
I have had good luck using typical GM cranks with a little bit of brass shim stock to fill the slop.
Just make sure you aren't using recent Chinese replacements because some of those have very little definition to what is supposed to be the inner gear teeth.
