Can anyone please tell me what a ball park vehicle weight would be for a 1972 Chevy Luv truck? I am looking at purchasing one and I can't find an accurate weight on the internet. Any responses would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

My 73' weighs 2450. my friends 79' weighs 2540, that is according to the shop manuals..

Where did you get those numbers?
A stock 2wd LUV truck with a standard bed, weighing 3200 pounds with no load, I'd start looking for a lot of bondo.
The V8 trucks with 12 bolt rear ends only tip the scales at approx 2780 lbs.
The weight difference between the standard bed and step side is only approx 100 lbs.
