Hi all, Hope everyone had a good 4th. My was fine except for one problem....
I started out Saturday morning with my sister, headed to the flea market to do a little sellin', the truck stared fine, I pulled out of my driveway and about 100 yards (which I guess is better than 100 miles!) from the house the fusible link blew!
After the flea market, my neighbors helped me push the truck home. I connected the link just to see what would hapen and as soon as the truck tried to start, it blew again. The Clymer manual says it connected to the starter relay, but doesn't go into much more detail.
Any ideas whats causing it to blow and how it can be fixed? I really HATE electrical problems!
Thanks in advance for all info

Problem solved!! New battery terminals, a few feet of new 10 gauge wire, and a in-line fuse holder with a 25amp fuse in place of the fusible link and the truck started and ran fine! :D
