Anyone ever seen a Don Hardy swap kit, or any of his parts?
I might be wrong and they may not have made any. I know they made a ton of V8 Vega stuff.

Grandmaster of the "Shade Tree" way.. I can't see the yard for all the cars. Come on down and we will sit on the porch and watch the grass grow.

Hardy was usually one of the first ones for swap kits. I thought he made one. All it looks like the do now is industrial engines. Too bad. He made a hell of a pro stock chassis.

The first V8 Datsun, LUV and Courier kits came from a company called Chassis Engineering & Speed, located in So. Cal. If you look thru the magazines in the middle 70's you'll see thier stuff. They also did the factory proto V8 LUV, then the GM front office caught wind and it was stopped.
The first V8 vega was done by Herbert & Meek in Los Angelus followed by Hooker, Hardy, copies of Hooker mounts and Chassis Engineering & Speed.

Some one was looking for the name of the add on windows and sun roofs company. It was "Le Van" in So. Cal. They made a lot of different windows etc. styles.

Hardy did the Vega ones for Motion Performance and some others. I read that at least 7 different people were making conversion parts 8O

Those were crazy cars. I had a 73 Vega GT and wanted a Motion kit for it so bad.....
