Back in the 80's I wanted to build my truck so much like that!! That was my favorite truck back then. 8)

Never understood why people spent all that money to chrome leaf springs? Chrome doesnt flex. :smt017

I always wanted a cut through also back then. I found one for sale in Benson AZ. I think about 5 years ago at the Chevron station. Just wasn't ready for one then.

in 86/87 the pup was made in a space cab
though rather rare.
gas/ Tdiesel, 4x2/4x4, auto/manual.

though no 4x4 auto.

I should have bought that one when it was for sale. If i remember, it's a "need smog" year with a V8 in it and was up in the high desert here in Cali.

Wouldn't it be neat if we could get the front clip of one of those Florian's and put on our trucks that would keep people guessing trying to figure out what the truck is. Cool 8)

I would love to have the white one and I have also thought of building a crew cab. I just bought an '81 parts truck for the engine. It has low miles, runs like a dream and is complete just had a cracked frame. I'm gonna drop the engine in my '79. I got it for $100. The cab is in great shape so I have "thought" about doing that to my '81. I know the 81 & 82 arent the classic Luv's like the 80's and down but it's still a project I'm intersted in doing. I was thinking of making the bed about as long as that of a Subaru Baja. I could paint it silver and it would look like the offspring of my '05 3/4T crew cab.

it looks alot rougher in the pics than it realy is the frame has no rust and i have 3 real good cabs and 2 real good beds now im leaving the stock motor in it the guy showed me recips he had the motor rebuilt it cost him $$1200.00 to have it rebuilt and like i said it doesnt even have 5 mi. on the rebuild so it is a good platform to build on ya it does look real rough in the pics but its not as bad as it looks one of the trucks i had owend 13 years ago and is even still in my name it come back home lol :ebiggrin
