ok so everyone knows that the 1.8 sucks so what is the best car to try to get a v8 out of.

Hooker makes Chevy V8 motor mounts and headers for the LUV. Any Chevy small block is a popular choice since all the Chevy small blocks are externally the same dimensions and all work with the Hooker parts.

However, people have installed practically every motor in the LUV, including a big block Chevy. So it's really just a matter of how much effort you want to put into the conversion and how fast you want it to go afterwards.

as for BEST donor car?.....that really depends on it you wanna mess with fuel injection of do the K.I.S.S (Keep It Simple...Stupid

) deal and go with carb.
