Cool car! Now, does that Kingswood have a copy cat brother car in the US. It kind of looks like about a late 60's early 70's chevy of one kind or another.

My parents had a '69 Chevy Caprice station wagon when I was a little kid. It had the fake wood decal on the sides and had emblems at the rear sides that said Kingswood Estate.

i was at a car show a while ago and parked beside me was a 72 four door nova and it was about the same length as that just a bit wider and an american bloke at the same show said how much the front looked like a monte carlo..ive always had a massive soft spot for u.s. muscle but this is all i could afford as im only an apprentice.still these cars are very iconic over here and fetch a fair bit of money now.ill post sum more pics of it up aswell as my luv

General Motors Holden (GMH) is a part of GM/ Chev etc so some of the kingswood body design is based on American cars. The top of the range kingswoods were fitted with 350 chevs and saginaw trannys. Even a few were imported into Japan by Mazda and fitted with ROTARY engines 8O

It does have a license plate so technically it is a street truck, that sets off car alarms and makes kids cry. lol

:signiagree That's what I was thinking also, I just didn't type it. The Kingswood thing got me thinking about the old wagon and I went down that road.

Ours had the 350. But she would race kids in Camaros up Beach Blvd. on the way home from the beach. 8)
