Does anyone know of a good way to remove the rust from inside the cab vents (the pillar vents) They are the vents just aft and above the door handles. I'd like to remove the rust before it gets too bad. Any suggestions?

Im not sure if the metal is thick enough to handle sandblasting without distorting plus trying to work thru 3 little louvers is a problem, i dont think there's a nozzle small enough to work in such an intricate area

I sandblasted mine. Just stuck the nozzle in between the vents and moved it around in circles. It wasn't perfect but it did a pretty good job.

Yep!! Plus it is a really good spot to hide your door release buttons when you shave the handles. Not like I am going to do that or anything!

It is a good thing that I decided to look back through the post because I was wondering how I was going to get rid of the rust inside my vents but now I know how. Thanks 8)
