As a novice to my 1978 LUV, i am attempting to rebuild my vehicle but it seems i run into small problems along the way.
I put a new timing chain, cover, oil pump,alternator, carburetor, and starter, into my Isuzu 4 cylinder engine. when put back together, i have no compression in any cylinders. we know the crankshaft and camshaft turn along with the valves opening and closing.
Short of having the head and valves redone, is there a way to adjust the rocker arms to so i can have compression without going through the hassle of removing the heads?
all the timing marks lined up as needed and on the distributor also.

any advise would be appreciated

ok ok.... we looked at this in your other thread, now lets dig into it.

how have you confirmed there is no compression? are you sure you mean compression....... or is it not firing / running?


you said you didnt take the top end apart it, I assume it was fine before you messed with it? running atleast? and you just replaced those external parts...... right?

just asking the basics first so that we (us) can help you figure it out.
