i replaced the timing chain on my 1978 luv pickup. there is no compression in any of the 4 cylinders. all timing marks have aligned properly. I believe when the original timing chain broke, it made the engine skip time. does anyone out there have any suggestions as to how to readjust the rocker arms / valves instead of taking off the head and having everything redone?

thanks

RJ

Sounds like it bent the valves. Pretty sure you're gonna have to pull it...

NO compression or too low to fire? Did you try a compression tester to see.
You either do not have it timed correctly or you have bent a valve in every cylinder.
Pull the valve cover, turn it over till int and ex valves are closed. Apply air pressure thru the spark plug hole and listen for any leaks from intake or exhaust.
