Sounded like Glen Rock (had relitives there till last year and they do have one of the better yearly car shows for this state) if it is close to Casper, hopefully not Rock Springs, the armpit of Wyoming with Casper being in 2nd place!

Just checking out your progress and sure makes me want to do some work on my new LUV. Since the wife pretty much said NO with some other words mixed in, Guess I won't. (At least not right away!!!)
Anyway, about those holes along the cowl, I do believe they are for the fresh air system. Fresh air is drawn/forced through those holes, passes through the cab, and exit through the grills right behind the doors. I plan to clean mine out really good and install screen over them to keep crap out.

That's not correct, luvmachine78.

chevyluv1980 is correct. They're part of the 'body ventilation system' which is described in detail in the shop manual in the ventilation section.

That looks great ! I would like to know what your combo consist of. Like rear end width, wheel and tire sizes (wheel backspace, diameter, ect). Also, what style of wheel is that ? And how does this all look with the box on ? Luv it alot  !!!
