So I have my stock 79 4 cyl engine. Almost went to scrap today, but it didnt fit on the scrap mans trailer (ran out of room from the other junk!) And the stars have aligned themselves for the 3rd time to keep this engine in the shop.

Being that I just finished my latest motor build this week, I am thinking of building something different.

So I am curious as to how far the stock luv engine has been taken? I am not afraid of the challange, but if somebody else has built a full on race G180 then I dont see any point in wasting the time to do it again.

Now, would anybody be interested in the engine once its done? I have no use for it, I just want to build something different.

now heres the few ideas i have had,

Mechanical injection high compression N/A motor?
Roots Blown carbed?
Carbed turbo?
Mechanical injection Turbo?

Nuting aganst EFI --- but its boring to me.

yea yea, i know its going to cost alot, but so does any engine, and well - I could probably sneek this one by on company overhead and not pull a dime out of my pocket. call it advertizing.

Any Ideas? or possibly somebody to come get it out of my garage? LOL

 A.j.

Don't trash or scrap those engines (or carbs)! Us boyz here in Cali can only replace our smog LUVs with original engines (and carbs).
We can transplant different engines, but have to go through hell with the Communist State of Kaleeforneea to get them certified for on-road use.
