Well, I'll be there, god, and work, willing. There is a 99.9% chance of no work that Sunday, until I posted this of coarse.

I am in, no one else should be out as I have the most distance to drive, with a trailer no less. Like I said and Ron offered, I will be unloading by his house and driving to the show.

The location is Sonora High School. They have a giant parking lot for tow vehicles available for anyone else. I know Karl wants to be able to drive his truck a couple miles at least. That's why he's parking at my house.

Tomorrow I will be at the antique truck show at the rail road museum in Perris, CA without a LUV. I"m riding with my son and a buddy in his Suburban.

I have not gone. My friend has been pushing me to go every year so this year I'll go for sure. Anyone else. Speak of the devil check out the open header contest.

That event's a joke. I know someone who got a ticket for doing a little burnout. Cruze at 5mph and rev your engine, but god forbid you break the tires lose!

Last year the place was crawling with cops, just itching to write people up. The city may let it go on, but the cops don't want people there.

Of course the same goes for everyday driving around here.

Cars? Speeding, chirping the tires, loud exhaust, you may as well be Rodney King. You'll be lucky if you have a license afterwards.

Drive a Harley? You can do whever the hell you want. Street racing, no mufflers, anything goes, free pass. No problemo.

No joke.

Sorry for the rant and the thread hijack. It just pisses me off.

The part about the harleys is pretty much true everywhere. They can have no muffler, tall bars, whatever, and they seem to get away with it all the time.

And I think there's a sign posted outside my house that says..."All hogs must drive by Ron's house at 2am, wound tight in 2nd gear, uncorked." because it seems, they all do.
