Ok I have given up on trying to find that perfect condition Luv bumper. I have a 4x4 1979 with a crappy twisted up rusted ou bumper. So i came up with an early 80's S-10 bumper. They do look somewhat alike, especially having turn signals built in. Has anyone done this? I've done a mock up for measuring purposes. Any suggestions. It's a plain black bumper with lower facia intact so cutting and welding is an option.

man that bumper looks pretty stupid. but mine is also not chrome so fabrication is very possible. mine's also not twisted like the one in that picture. Thanks for the link, that's what I was looking for. I'm going to make mine look better than that I hope. So that maybe it will be LuvTruck approved! :)

Okay, I've seen photos of bumpers, but do you know or can you point me towards another model car/truck with a bumper that would fit the 1974 luv?

I've also seen 81-82 Bumpers would it fit, or can it be modified to fit the 1974 luv?

Cheers

I may have a perfect condition bumper for a 74 Luv for sale, but may be awhile. Waiting to get a fiberglass one from ctmandu.

Sorry but take a look at the toyota bumpers. I was looking at them before i found an original bumper for my Luv.
Ther is a real nice one that is box-e and cromed and looks like it would fit. I was going to get two and cut out the center plate section to make it go strait a cross.

This is what i got..........

Thanks for the replies guys, I'm in Australia so it makes it harder to get parts.

I'll check out the links, but I'm missing the front bumper the first link I clicked looked like the back one.

Cheers

As long as straightening and rechroming is being discussed, fix the Luv bumper. You won't have to try a fit something that wasn't designed for the truck, you won't have the expense of purchasing the donor bumper, and it will cost less to have the Luv bumper fixed because it's smaller. Not only that, you be one of the few people left on this planet with a decent front bumper.
