 Post subject: buick 3.8 swap....

i have a 1973 luv with a 1980 buick v-6 built by a friend. i am currently in germany and my truck is in washington. does the v-6 swap have motor mounts or are they solidly mounted? i would ask the friend but he passed away 2 years ago and dad is to broke/old to check the truck. thanks.

Not sure what you mean solidly mounted, would have to make some kind of mount to install the motor no matter what, mine had motor mounts with the kit I bought,

I purchased the mounts form Hooker, but you use the factory rubber engine mounts, ot you can purchace Poly mounts from TA performance in AZ. I made my rear mount for the trans, and was able to use the 4 factory bolt holes.
