years back a friend of mines truck got broken into thru the wing window while we were out fishing.he got these deals that you could put on at night that basically locked the w.window.It was a long time ago but it kinda looked like two pieces of rectangular metal about 2"x1".does anybody know what I'm talking about and where to get some?my neighborhood sucks and I want to get a stereo for the luv.

tried search on j.c.whitney,summit and some other one,partstrain maybe,no luck.there is a place that has a lot of bug parts,maybe there.

Everybody I know (Including me) who have been broken into have had the window smashed in, if a thief wants your stereo, he is going to get it. Personally I wouldnt waste the money on those as you will need to replace your stereo and your window instead of just the stereo. Most thieves are kids and kids nowdays probably have never seen a wing window anyway since they are older then they are. I have seen many cars get the windows broken out and they had left the doors unlocked. :roll:

If you still wish to find the wing window locks try your local truckstop, they are still available at most of the larger stores.
Or try to find them on line through a truck stop supply company.
