with the wheels on the luv being 6 lug am I going to have a problem finding 15 or 16 in. rims? plain steel or steel rallye styles are fine.

no those are real easy to find they are the most common 6 hole pattern anything 6 - 5.5 will work (well almost)
they were used on chevy, nissan, mazda, toyota among others

Me too. :) I did run into a set of 15 inch Nissan wheels that had too much backspacing and the rim edge hit the upper ball joint but most of the 6 on 5.5 wheels will fit.
