Any one use something like this, work on it, or been on it?
I am thinking about doing something like this in a old horse-tack room (storage area)
Is this stuff slick? I don't want to bust my butt on it.

I could use deck and porch paint, but that doesn't hold up real good.
I am not sure how that holds up to oil.

Grandmaster of the "Shade Tree" way.. I can't see the yard for all the cars. Come on down and we will sit on the porch and watch the grass grow.

I helped my dad do his other garage floor last year with one of those kits from the hardware store and it has held up great. He doesnt use it a lot (cuz my LUV is sitting in there. ) Just like anything else, the key is in the prep work, have to make sure you get it etched really well and all the old stains up as much as possible. When I can finally get to doing my garage floor (where my WILL THEN be sitting) I will proably have a pro do it as it will see a lot more use. It can be slick, but the kits the sell have the colored sprinkles you spread on it which help with that and I have seen texture packs you can add to the paint. If you a putting it in an area where a lot of heavy stuff isnt going to be drug across the floor much, those kits work great. Think we spent $60 on the kit. I can get pics if you want.

I did put down something in my travel a few years ago that had like sand in it. It was deck, step paint. I saw the sand stuff available by its self. I used it after taking the carpet out. I used it so the dogs would not slip when using the steps down from the bed room. It was a 5th wheel, and the bed room was in the front.

I just remembered about it.

Ive used the stuff in a few garages. I LOVE IT!The sprinkles in it cause you from slipping. Its pretty much stain resistant and cleans up easily. I found myself everytime after i got done working on a car id mop the floor to keep it shiny.I took pride in the floor and recomend it to anyone. It makes your garage look like a showroom and it also brightens the area up from the light reflecting off of it 8)
