That is amazing. Did the dirty bastards use gas or something to start the fire?

Thye hood might not be steel. On the Ford vans they are a plastic/glass or some kind of thing not steel.

Man that really sucks. When they catch them they need to pour gas on them and light it!!!

Why do they usually burn the vehicle? Seems like they always catch them anyway, most of the ones I seen in Denver were. A coworkers VW GTI was stolen from a hospital where his wife took it to visit someone, 3 days later they found it 2 blocks from our work (which was kind of weird) on fire of course, then caught the guys the next week. People like that need to be done away with.

Auto theft should be a capitol offense!
They set fire with the hope that it will wipe out fingerprints etc.

That sucks, looks like that fire was pretty intense. I was pissed when someone broke into my garage and stole about $1,500 worth of my sons snow boarding equipment two weeks ago. I can't imagine someone stealing my wheels.

Evidently the idiots who steel cars don't watch CSI or the news for that matter or they would know that all a fire dose is burn there prints in place so now these scum bags not only get it in the a$$ for auto theft now they add destruction of property to there problem.

I think the Indians of the plains had the proper idea how to take care of this problem. STAKE THEM NEXT TO A RED ANT HILL. Or bury them with there heads stick out of the ground.

It may sound extreme but it would get results.
