Hello...I am new to this forum and to Luv's. I might be buying myself a Luv within the next week, from a guy off another forum I talk on. Well he is having a hard time finding the vin number and I found this site and figured one of you would be able to tell me where it should be located for i can let him know.

The truck is a 1974 Luv.

My plans would be to restore it to its glory with some technology upgrades, like a new stereo system, but put the original Isuzu motor back in it, if i can find one for it.

There's one on the frame its stamped on the transmission crossmember, one on the drivers side door jam under the door striker, and one under the windshield wiper cowl on the drivers side.

thanks, I just sent him the info you gave me. Hopefully by next weekend I will own a Luv. Main reason i need it, is that he does not have a title so i need to take in the vin #s for i can get one made.

He did find the v#s he gave me the wrong year when he told me about it, but he just really did not know much about Luv's, he got it from his neighbor for his father could teach him how to do body work.
