i wouldnt sugggest the big space from where Actual coilover bolts up to top of shock tower! looks like a hanger bolted to the shock tower down to the coilover. to much stress would be on that i would think! hanger where it bolts to coilover should be bolted or welded to shock tower minus the exstension!

I ended up adding some heavy wall box tubing to the hanger welded it all the way around and cut out top plate and will finish up tomorrow and flush it up. it will be better I don't know how I got talked into building that other setup glad I did not!

are your coils not long enough to reach actual tower or go past it? i cut my top out and stuck coil in the pocket then boxed around it so it could be bolted there. i didnt want the coil to randomly bounce out thus why i made it stick as close it the pocket as possible

go to youtube and type in -chevy luv truck walk around
my profile name is brandon5770 i get close up to my coils in the walk around video and there is pics in my other video - luv truck progress 6.0l ls1

mine are -10 1/4" closed and 14 1/2" open
yours are -open: 15.76''
-closed: 10.76''
seems pretty close to mine i would exstend that lower control ARM out and mount/make mount for the maximum exstended length but you have stiffer springs than i do so it will be different i have 250 lb springs holding up my 6.0l plus me i weigh 300 they seem fine so far

mine are only 11 1/8" extended and 8 5/8" collapsed. yeah I am going to have to roll with my stiffer springs for a bit I have either 550 or 400lb haha my engine center is with the crossmember so there is some weight in that area. but we shall see how she rides

That adjustable mount can be done with circle track weight jacks and live on the street and would look good to.

oh yea alot different but the springs you have could make up for how much it compresses when you put weight on them. trial an error is what you will have to do! :ewink do whatever you think will work and test it out thats what i did !

I just put coilovers on my truck, I put 3955 QA1 with 7in 250 # spings, when I let the truck down it compressed the springs down to about 4 in. It went all the way down to rubber snubbers, seems to be to lite of a spring, HELP, any help would be great
