The valley area is catching hell here lately up here in the NE Oregon area we usually don't get a real winter until Jan. but it started early and doesn't show giving up yet as it snowed about 3"s last night and it's snowing now at 11:00am this morn.. It's a good time to stay home but cabin fever is starting to set in. You take care down there Ctmandu as it don't look like your gonna get a break for awhile either.

we are going to the store so I went out to get the ice off the Durango and its from 1/4" to 1" thick.... pulled one chunk of the luv’s fender and its almost 1/2 ".... and i am getting cabin fever too tj been trying to move my shop by the 1st but been stuck in the house here for almost 3 days

We got real strong winds with blowing snow here. About 1 1/2 hours ago I went out north of town in my S-10 Blazer with a friend to get his wife. The road going north had a couple of signs saying "ROAD CLOSED AHEAD". Man were they right. We went out just to check out the roads and there was a drift that went across the whole road and it was about 1/2 as high as my Blazer!! It is suppose to get down to -18 degress overnight. You guys out west take care.

Guys I feel your pain. We've been below zero for 9 days now and have gotten about 9 inches of snow. We did get up to 3 degrees today though and it's suppose to let up this week at least into the 20's with single digits at night. All this comes just when I get my LUV running straight. At least it's 4wd and that all works fine. I just don't want to trust it yet to drive it out of town until I get to put a few more miles on it. Hitching a ride below zero would suck.

the garage was converted to half shop half den... so no go there... my shop looks like this....

and the 510 is in it too

so no room and the new shop is not ready to move the big stuff in yet..so the luvs have to sit out front. besides its just a shop truck for fun but i would love to get it inside- soon i hope

wow ctman it only rained down here in sutherlin today but its probably heading our way shortly. I was planning to go up to see my uncle in salem but maybe not till weather permits? Nice cars by the way!

Last year we got hit pretty hard in central OK. I was outside filming some of the ice and was unfortunate enough to witness a branch fall from about 50' crashing down on my poor little Luv. The pic below isn't from the ice storm but it shows the damage.

We had a record low of -29 degrees at the Cedar Rapids airport. It is the coldest on record. Came close in '24 & '74 at -28 degrees. Tomorrow it is suppose to get to -30 degrees!!! Gotta luv Iowa!!!
