You pulled and installed engines in the 1/2 ton without removing the hood. :D Now, that's some space to work with.

Man you wouldn't believe the space . I went to put the headers in and almost dropped them all the way through ! i like having the room to work in and the motor looks small in there . The bad part is to get that room the truck is big and heavy . looking forward to getting it running this week and working out the bugs .

yes those trucks have plenty of room. i had a 69 that i would work on under the carport at dad's house and when my unwanted friends would drive up i would just lay in the engine bay over the short block and pull the hood closed.

Cool, you will have to keep us updated on the car. Is that a '67 or '68?

Grandmaster of the "Shade Tree" way.. I can't see the yard for all the cars. Come on down and we will sit on the porch and watch the grass grow.

It's a 68' RS only , but it is the top of the line RS . It is the L-30/M-20 package . Basically the same as a SS except 327 instead of 350 . I only have 4 hobby type cars ( right now ) . I keep 2 at home and my mother-in-law has a big extra detatched garage i can keep 1 in ( 2 will fit ) and i painted my parents garage floor and keep 1 there . Might be getting a 1970 Mark Donahoe Javalin soon also . 14,000 original miles . I am addicted to cars and will probably be selling 2 off to help fund my daughters college :( Oh , and i hear about having to many cars almost weekly . I don't bar hop or hunt anymore , so racing and hobby cars are my thing . I am trying to buy an acre behind the house so i can build a shop . I have been thinking about opening a muffler , brake , shock , tire type shop and doing it part time to see how it goes .

Just to put some closer on it i sold the 67 ' . I didn't want to , but the new owner wanted it more than me . I now owe on the house and wifes Pathfinder and that's it . Guy at the gas station , meaningless chat , how much ? , threw a big # out and my phone # on a peice of paper , new owner for cash 2 days later .

I have gotten that paint code 3 times for you guys and i lose it everytime . I'll get it this week some time . My daughter turns 16 in like 89 days ( i get a sticky note on my door every morning ) and i bought her a 98 RS Camaro T-top car . It is a gold 3800 V-6 car . I am having it painted the original color in base/clear . I liked driving it , but i felt :rainbow1: :gayfight :Fade-color driving it around ( V-6 ) to have a few things fixed , so i bought myself a 1 owner 2002 Trans am connvertible 6-speed . I'll get some pics up tonight or tommorow .
