Thats what many with the V-8 conversion use. I could not use them with my new engine as they would not clear the spark plugs, I have a set of alum heads that repositioned the plugs in reference to the exhaust ports. I am the exception as most are fine with these.

Like I said before, I am right on the 2K budget she gave me, 2K in body work, 2K in paint, 2K in rims and tires, 2K in interior, etc.

I still have my ceramic block huggers here if someone need them. They fit with my torsion bars. Even stull have the pipes that were hooked up.
I have long tubes now since i took out the torsion bars, I bought a set of brand new hooker super comps off ebay 121.oo total shipping and all for a Luv. Ha anyone want to bid LOL.

Think they were 4x4 full size truck from the 80's. i had the passenger side rear tube cut and curved in to fit inside the frame without rubbing. The driver side set right in. Only 2/1/2 inch tubes but no biggy for me.
if i put my hookers on I would sell you the ones I have very very cheap. just not sure i want to change right now. Thinking bout having the one seperate tube on the hookers re fabbed to set inside the frame also. if i don't use the hookers i might be interested in selling them.

Thanks for the info, my torsion bars are gone also, coilover installed. The SBC i have has the frame hugger style headers and I would prefer long tube headers that is why I am asking. Thanks again

You do know the long tubes give you more low end torques which you really don't need on a luv. But I went to them too LOL. Shorties give you the more high end if you are running low gears

So I have heard
