Alright, I'm looking for a set of bucket seats that will fit in a 75 luv. Anyone got a list or something of different seats that will work? Preferably something comfortable that bolts in with little or no fab work. Thanks.

I have buckets out of a Geo Storm GSI, very little fab work needed for the install.

I had to drill 2 new holes and make a 1/2 inch spacer for the front right of the drivers side and front left for the passenger side.

Sure, I'd appreciate that. I'm a pretty big guy, and this will be the first thing I do to it so I actually fit. :P

Did you actually make make them? Or get them from somewhere? If so, how did you make them?

Hi...I'm a little late but back in the 80's I put two Toyota Celica (1976) buckets in my 77LUV. Had to do a little welding of half inch square tubing to make up a frame for each. I'm still driving it daily now. Seats remain comfortable and durable. Had them re-upholstered in the early '90's. Pretty easy to do but the only problems were to get the heights and tilt of the seat like I wanted. Ya gotta block them up secure enough to get in and out to test them and yet they cannot move after you decide you like the position and you get out. Then you make the frames from measurements you've taken whereever there are blocks. Good Luck...you can do it. Don

This weekend I'm going to my local wrecking yard and looking for some bucket seats. I thought I read somewhere in a different post (on bucket seats) that you should use the same seat belts from the donner vehicle. Anyone that's put in bucket seats, can you shed some light on this?

Thanks! 8)
