Front window maybe...rear window no way. They only have universal weatherstripping for the rear window. From what I've read on this forum nobody makes the seal and good used ones go for a premium. I was fortunate enough to be able to reuse my old one; a good glass shop can help with that but if it's bad quite frankly I'm not sure what to do. There once was a guy on Aussie eBay claiming to have remade the seals, but when I asked about him on here nobody had bought from him.

Bueller?

I think that's the guy I saw. If you get a rear window seal from him and it works you are stylin'.

http://www.restorationspecialties.com Call these people on the phone. They almost have every seal for every vehicle. You may need to send him measurements and a small piece of the old seal to match it up, but they will have it.

Anybody find a source for the rear windshield gasket yet? I ordered one from AutoParts Warehouse even though I was skeptical that it was the right one 'cause they say it fits 1975-1982 (I need one for '81) but I know there was a change in the rear windshield over that period. Their part number/description is:

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
1975-1982 Chevrolet LUV Precision Parts Windshield Seal Windshield Seal Price: $57.26 Qty: 1 Part #: PCNC451937. REAR WINDOW GLASS WEATHERSTRIPPING -- Does not accept trim; A high quality, direct fit OE replacement rear window glass weatherstripping.
Fit Note: Rear Window.
Location: Rear Window.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Got it today. It's the right shape, but way too big.

Thanks!

The old way was to get one that is the same type but to big then cut to fit usually a 45 angle and put it on the bottom.
