Got this out of the alignment shop today . lowered the front 1.5" and the rear 2.5" . Might still go a bit lower , but i won't adjust it till i get the wood in the bed and the V8 in it .

That is sharp! The rear bumper and '67 tags really add to the period feel. Very nice!

I found a set of 67 truck tags I bought for a 67 I had for a while. They are legal to run in Texas.... Only after you pay the state. I bought them at the Houston Autorama one year.

Grandmaster of the "Shade Tree" way.. I can't see the yard for all the cars. Come on down and we will sit on the porch and watch the grass grow.

sweet ride man, but please tell me you aren't just going to scrap the original motor, trans and steering column those three on the tree set ups are getting hard to find, don't have a need for it my self but it could bring a pretty penny on ebay or somethin

Well , the clutch is going out on the 3 speed and i have a th350 , converter , cross member and factory automatic tilt column with linkage . So yea i plan on pulling it . I was going to keep it , but after driving it a little while it really is not as much fun as i remeber as a younger man . plus my wife wants to drive it and she is 3OTT challanged . The 6'er will stay for now as im a 250 fan . I am discussing replacing the bed wood with reclaimed white Oak from a 1900's Tennesse plantation home with new painted steel stripes between them . I am going with a old style under dash air conditioner with 134A and modern compressor and a huge condensor coil ( i do refrigeraion work for a living ) . A slight window tint latter down the road and a stance adjustment when i get all the weight back in it . The ole 6 runs better everytime i drive it . I had it in the driveway the other day and a guy stopped and offered me $6000 for it just like it sits . It almost got a new owner , but my wife started fussin and tellin the guy it's not for sale .

No sale , I don't really want to sell it . Only serious guy is out of La. and he wants it as a roller . Got a grudge race on the 22nd and i'll be pulling the 355 out . It'll be nice to have a slick on it and take all that weight out . Im thinking it might even bust into the 6.20's . The 397 was being bored yesterday . Ima getter in tha 5's . Guess i need to update my old truck thread .

I Did get next to the red Mustang , but in a index jackpot type deal . Broke out with a 6.57 on a 6.60 . Would have rather gone heads up  . Anyway , thought id update . Pulled the 6'er out and put the motor from the Luv in it . Still got some loose ends to tie up , but it's coming along . I'll be storing the Luv for a month or so and working on this and the Camaro for winter . I'll pull the Luv out and get the new motor in it by the end of January .
