I think that picture tells most of the story... railroad tracks meet frame, ouch.

I looked at the photobucket album and there are some more, including one that looks like the driver right after it happened.

Yep, not so much an airbag problem, just driver error. I would say after his front wheels went over the first rail the truck dipped down and those frame mounts stick OUT of the bumper  hit the second rail making for an interesting crash!!! Wonder how high the back wheels came off the ground??? I see to many people think they can drive normal in a lowered vehicle, my dad being one of them  Cant count the amount of front valances he has broken off because he cant remember to stop before hitting a parking block. I am surpised I havent been pulled over under the suspicion of DUI because I am constantly monitoring the road ahead for potholes so I dont bend my (expensive) billet rims or somebody rear end me at a railroad crossing or dip as I NEVER going over 5 mph through them and ALWAYS at an angle so I dont end up like Mr Courier!!! He had to be going at a decent speed to do that much damage, love seeing idiots in vette, vipers and other sports cars with broken front valences. Looks like his next truck should be stock height!!!!! :egeek

8O Thats why I never bag only the front of vehicle either the rear or both but never just the front. If the back was bagged he would of just drug over that.
