hello, I'm new to the forum and this is my 2nd LUV. I had a 4x4 in high school (don't even remember what year it was) that had dual round headlights on each side. I now have a project truck that I'm not sure what I'm going to do with. (right now it's a daily driver) It is an '80 2wd stock as can be, but i dont like the single round headlights. will a front clip off an earlier model fit? or is there an easier fix to this problem?

The good news is you dont need the front clip. Basically you need the early model duel headlight buckets, grill, bezels and some electrical work and away you go. 1978 was the first year of the single headlamp and 1979 was the first year of the 4X4. Someone changed the headlamps on your first LUV, or even possibly it could have been a aftermarket 4X4.
