Wow, that's pretty graphic. I'd forgotten what that mess is like, last one I dealt with was in Biloxi, many years ago. They activated all of us school-y Airmen to go assist at the shoreline and pitch sandbags. We stayed until the wind started knocking guys over...

Glad you are alright!

I am back. We were only out of power for 5 days in Caldwell with "Entergy" . I have been helping some folks that were hit worse. I will be going down to Channelview to help a friend from High School. My brother never lost power, Bryan Utilities, my sister lost power for 1/2 hr. Blue Bonnet Electric. My other House has Bluebonnet so we went there and stayed. We have it rented out now... So it will be hello son, next time.

I am glad no one got hit real bad... I can get most stuff replaced if I needed. No rising water at either place. If they flood every one is in Deep Do Do.....

Watch for cheap generators in the next 6 months or so..... I let two offered to me to use, but I told them to give them to others that needed them more. One guy ran his whole house of one of the generators. It would not run the electric dryer.

Every one safe, watch out for all the creepy things that come out with high water....
I will be going out again early next week.

I am a jack of all trades, and master of none. I will bring all me stuff with me. Someone PM me if they need help getting your stuff back to together. I am early retired so I don't work so I have free time. I rebuilt most things on my 1892 House, added a kitched, master bathroom, 2 other full bathrooms and helped when I had to bring the pros in.

Grandmaster of the "Shade Tree" way.. I can't see the yard for all the cars. Come on down and we will sit on the porch and watch the grass grow.
