Ive noticed alot of people have been trying to locate 5 speeds for there trucks with no luck. At my local pull a part there's almost always a couple of isuzu pickiups with 5 speeds in them. I know that one day they will be even harder to find..... Basically what Im tryin to say is if there is enough demand for them I would gladly stock up on 5 speeds for the luvtruck community and just charge a small labor fee for pulling them out of the donor trucks.

What do you guys think?

I could go as far as putting together a kit of parts so it would be a bolt in deal.

Shipping wouldnt be a problem as long as its in the US.

In the kit I would include
Sandwich plate (goes between the engine and trans)
Drive shaft yoke with about a foot of the tube so you can get a driveshaft made
shifter of course
clutch fork and cable

$200 shipped

and if this works out I would like to donate some of the money towards luvtruck.com :)

used electronic distributors are kinda hard to find here. if you could pull one or two off the tranny donors would be nice

If it has a hydraulic clutch on it, it will only work with the 76-78 luvs. Might be 77 not too sure.

I just got done pulling an M75 out of the new pick a part in the high desert.

When all was done, they wanted $486 for the USED transmission, shifters, etc.

I walked out of there.

If you're selling all that stuff for $200, that is a good deal. I need a 4x4 transmission though.
