In indiana cops are pretty anal about having a running light on ur plate for ur vehicle at nite. they pull people over hard core. so i look underneath my truck and have noticed there is an adapter that was stripped before i got my truck...... so i was just wondering what people on here use for a light for thier plate, like one from another vehicle. Unless luvs came with them stock and someone on here had one i could take off of thier hands . anyways apperciate the help!

You probably get a light from an auto parts store that would work. There are some that are held on by screws.

Yes LUVs did have them as it is a law. I agree you could get anything and mount it up under there.

This is why I am looking for a couple extras. I want to mount an extra up under there so as if one bulb goes out there is a 2nd like most newer vehicles. Nothing like having a little extra insurance to avoid getting pulled over.

LED lights would work great. Something like 100,000 hour life IIRC. I am sure there a lot more.
