Hi all, just showing you my truck to see what you all think. Shes filthy in these pics, I just rolled her out and gave it a quick spray off with the hose to start workin on it. Ill put up some more when i get to polishing it up. Its Midnight Blue, looks allmost black but you can pick up the blue metal flake at certain angles. Its just a little hard to pick up in photos especially as dirty as it is. Once i change the points, rebuild the weber, maybe rejet it, and throw a new fuel pump in she'll be back in action.

Wing windows FTMFW!

For the history of her check my intro thread:

And here its with the replacement from back in 93. What can i say, id rather fix em up than have a car payment lol.

Grandmaster of the "Shade Tree" way.. I can't see the yard for all the cars. Come on down and we will sit on the porch and watch the grass grow.

Looks good, worth fixing and driving. What parts do you need? We have alot of members who have stuff laying around.

Nice tail dragger in the background, can I borrow it to get a type rating?

heh its a mint 185 and has a hair over 700 hours on it TTSN. I dont even fly it as much as i should, lol. You just lose the desire to fly when your in a turbine ag cat workin 10 hours a day all summer. And since we retired sprayin, ive been bouncin around so much im not even current in it. Not to mention avgas is stupid expensive now.

Truck doesnt need anything serious, just probably a jet kit and a rebuild kit. Its boggin on me like the secondary is opeining early.

Welcome. Nice truck. I was thinking Walcott IA. until I read your other thread that said you are in NV. So now I'm guessing Reno??? 8)

:ebiggrin Walcott claims to have the worlds biggest truck stop. It's a "Travel Stops Of America" aka TA truck stop. It is a big place.
I got your play on the Reno thing also.
I'll be in Grass Valley CA next week at my Dad's house. 8) It's 30 miles from Auburn, CA.

Sharp looking truck.

Walcott truck stop is a big honkin/ place. We happen to be going past there last summer when they were having their big weekend truck show. Man, there were alot of nice rigs.

Yea, they have some antique trucks too. About 3 or 4 years ago they were in process of building a museum for the trucks. I'm sure it's done now. But I'm just local now days. I don't get out of Cali.

Im impressed how the 18 yr old paint polished right back up, course it was with a buffer and some heavy cut cleaner on the hood and roof before the wax lol. my arms tired.

On second thought, maybee you should just part it out. I could get you 20 bucks for the front and rear bumper, 30 if you throw in that grill

It looks great cleaned up, now keep it that way and quit retiring it. It should bring a big smile to your face while driving it around. So what are the plans for it, are you going to keep her around for a while?
