Hi everyone! I have a 76 stepside that i fixed up in highschool that was my fathers old work truck he bought new off the showroom in 76. Thats right, a ONE owner truck! lol. Heres a condensed history:

The little workhorse worked the front lines of a cropdusting business for 10 years between my father and his brother, then became the trash hauler, then eventually sat in the back yard for a few years unused. This is where i came in. I was 14-15 by now and lived in a small town where i could drive without any problems. I allways liked the truck so one day i took my trusty eather can, air tank, and 5g of gas and got the truck running in about 20 minutes. I drove it with the faded paint and pitted windows for about a year when my father stepped in and said we were going to fix up the little beast. We tore all the panels off, took the bed apart and tore the interior out. Being mechanically enclined, we did all the work ourselves and pretty much re did everything imaginable, even did a little head work and threw on a weber 32/36. I drove it throughout highschool untill i graduated and inherited another work truck, a 89 GMC Sierra stepside. For the next few years the Luv didnt see much action unless my truck, or the parents vehicles broke. The Luv was allways there waiting to pull in the slack. Eventually she found her way to a corner in the back hanger to collect dust. There she sat for the last 6-7 years. Last week I figured id resurrect the old girl and get it back in running order, was looking on the net for parts, info, etc. and found this site.
